the Maker
“I’m Annmarie, a maker, a dreamer, and someone drawn to the quiet beauty in the everyday. After almost two decades as a career photographer, I now work with fragrance the way I work with light, through a storytelling lens while shaping atmosphere, memory, and feeling. ”
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using clean, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, made to be burned without guilt. Each scent, a chapter in a life lived slowly.
Hand-poured in our home studio in Collierville, Tennessee, each candle begins quietly, just outside the rhythm of Memphis and the surrounding towns we’re grateful to serve. We carry them from our worktable into local markets and gatherings across the region, placing them gently into the hands and homes of our community. Our hope is simple: to offer a small measure of light and calm through artfully curated fragrances, scents that stir memory, soften the present, and leave space for daydreaming.
Tapestry Candle Studio began in my home in Collierville, Tennessee, as a way of holding onto the ordinary moments that become stories over time. Morning light through the kitchen window, the scent of rain on garden soil, the quiet ritual of lighting a candle before the house wakes. Candle making became something steady. A way to create a new rhythm within the mundane.
